A blog is a great way to connect with family but it is also a great way to connect with new friends too and people we would have never otherwise met. Your life seems very interesting.
Hey girl! My second day is complete. Boy, did I feel my workout from yesterday when I got out of bed. How about you? I am not sure if I can sneak it in tomorrow but if not Friday for sure. The cardio kicks my butt in session 2...and the push ups! Still haven't been able to do all of those. I am feeling muscles I haven't felt in a long time!
Welcome Friends! Do you L-O-V-E somebody in the military? Then this is totally the place for you. Please, pull up a chair, grab a cup of coffee, and make yourself comfortable. Hi! I am Katrina aka Froggy Lady. I like frogs. No really. I do. The Lily Pad is my little space on the internet that I like to call home. It's a place where I take off my shoes, relax and get a little crazy sometimes. I also like to visit Four Ribbons and get my craft on. This is my Marine, he fights for freedom. That is HOT. This is Madelyn. She is three and keeps me on my toes and sometimes renders me speechless. So now that you know a little more about me, please link up so we all can get to know you! Oh and since we are all linked to the military somehow, you know there are rules. Don't worry, they're super easy and fun! Link-up your favorite post from this past week with the little linky guy below. Yep that's it. Now, please, go, mingle, and leave some bloggy lov
On holidays I think forward to how they will be when we have our own child. I think of what my parents did with and for us and imagine doing those same things for my own child. It's the small day to day things that shape us into what we are. In our house, Valentines Day was never about romantic love, even though Mom and Dad obviously loved each other and did things for one another. It was always about love, family love, friendly love, the love that encompasses us daily. It was a day where we got a red heart filled with chocolate, a box of conversation hearts, those heart jawbreakers, and cute card. Nanna always sent us a Valentines Day card - ALWAYS arriving on Valentines Day. Nanna had great timing with her cards - perfect timing. Mom always got the larger Whitmans Sampler Box and all of the kids would take turns picking what we wanted from what mom didn't care for (and sometimes what she was really saving for later because it was her favorite). Daddy got red hots. Tho
