Blah blah blah...blog.
I really wish there was something going on daily in my life that was bloggable, but I'm pretty boring these days.
We did rent that house we're just waiting on the property management company to recieve our security deposit and then we will have a house to move in to! Woohoo! I don't want to brag too much about this house, but it is FREAKING awesome! It has 3 bedrooms plus an office a formal living/dining area, huge kitchen with dining room and family room, 3 car garage, fenced in backyard and is on a cul-de-sac in a gated community in a town that we LOVE. I feel so lucky to have found this house and for it to still be available. We almost didn't get it because there was another application in on the property but we rushed and got ours in. It felt like we were bidding on a house to buy.
My next two weeks will be full of packing and trying to sort our stuff from my Granny's stuff and repacking unpacked boxes so that they can survive going cross-country. I am booking a moving company to move our few things so that my Mom and I don't have to try to back a uhaul trailor on our trip. I'm not much of a trailor backer-upper so I just don't want that added stress.
I am so excited to be moving to CA and to be with Chris but at the same time I am dreading leaving our families. I get so sad when I think about it and we've gotten really used to being around and with everyone. Luckily we will be back in May for a wedding, so it's not too long befoer we'll see everyone again.
Today is looking like it'll be gorgeous so I'm hoping to get Madelyn out to the park if she's up for it. She's been pulling her ears, stumbling around like a drunk, and had a low grade fever last night so I'm thinking ear infection. We have a dr. appt. Monday for shots so maybe we'll just get some antibiotic and skip the shots.
